Critical Care Bed Tower Planning and Design
Poltronieri Tang & Associates has been selected to provide pediatric planning and design services to the architectural team led by Perkins+Will of Coral Gables, FL for the new Critical Care Bed Tower building at Miami Children's Hospital. PT&A’s primary role and responsibility on the project focuses on issues of particular importance and concern to pediatric patients and their family members. In addition to traditional planning and design services, PT&A is working in tandem with the Patient and Family Advisory Council to ensure that all appropriate concerns and issues are being expressed and then addressed throughout the building design process.
 Existing MCH Facility The detailed Patient/Family Vision Statement for the project, encompassing over 75 specific project goals, begins with the following statements.

The new Critical Care Tower, which is currently in the planning and programming phase, will include the following major components:

Anticipated start of construction is fall 2008.
